Old Kennels

While it looks like a stretch of forest now, this place once housed the kennels of the Jay Estate grounds! The Jays had dogs of their own; however, there were no kennels associated with them. On the other hand, the Van Nordens and Palmers bred many kinds of dogs including French Bulldogs, dachshunds and Chow Chows. It is one of the reasons we allow dogs on leash to enjoy the property with their owners as a nod to that history!
