Gathering Lawn
This space, bordered by a variety of roses, is a place to gather, relax and soak in the garden's beautiful views. It will be the site of the award-winning "Striving for Freedom" interactive play, which is free for all middle schools in Westchester County and delves deeply into the lives of the enslaved people who lived at the Jay Estate.
A performance of "Striving for Freedom" (this one is in the Van Norden Carriage House).
