The oldest building on the property, this Dutch farmhouse dates back to the 1760s or earlier and is located facing Barlow Lane. Old maps show the existence of barns and stables in the general vicinity. It was greatly expanded in later years. The original facade was reoriented and given a new front entrance sometime in the 19th century. Archaeological investigations around the house conducted by Dr. Euegene Boesch with volunteers revealed an old road bed and other colonial era features.

Today, entering this building is off-limits due to the serious disrepair (and mold and asbestos) on the interior. However, it is still viewable from the outside.
