GARDENS

Welcome to the Historic Jay Gardens! Opening to the public in late summer/fall 2021, these gardens provide a space to educate visitors about both the natural and cultural history of the Jay Estate. The gardens are also a sustainable place for understanding the important role of native plants in our planet's ecological balance. The gardens were designed by Thomas Woltz of Nelson Byrd Woltz and present a palimpsest of narratives. There are three "rooms" for you to explore and enjoy!
